Dr. Ephraim Altmon
was raised in Bridgeport Connecticut.
He spent eight years in the armed
forces and is a veteran of Operation Desert
Storm.
He then attended Austin Peay State
University in Tennessee where he received
his Bachelors in Business Administration.
Dr. Altmon went on to attend Howard
University College of Dentistry and earned
his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. Altmon loves working with
children and pursued additional residency
training in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard
University. At the same time, he obtained a
Masters of Business Administration from
Howard University College of Business. Dr.
Altmon is also an Associate Professor at
Howard University College of Dentistry and a
staff physician at Howard University
Hospital and Children’s Hospital,
Washington, D.C.
Dr. Altmon is very
passionate about pediatric dentistry and is
very active in the dental profession.
.Dr. Altmon
is a member of the American Academy of
Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental
Association, and the District of Columbia
Dental Society. Also a life member of
the AOS (American Orthodontic Society).
Other than dentistry, Dr. Altmon enjoys
restoring cars, jogging, mixed martial arts
and weightlifting. Dr. Altmon is married to
Dr. Patricia Altmon (Dermatologist).
They are the proud parents of Amora
Altmon (age 5) and Ephraim Altmon II (12
months).
